Civil Engineer

Job Description

This company is the leading site design and construction firm in Northeast Indiana, is looking for a Civil Engineer who can work both independently, and collaboratively with colleagues, clients and review agencies. Tasks include work required for site layout, utility routing, sanitary/storm sewer design, roadways, grading/earthwork, erosion control, stormwater management systems, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and more. This company prides itself on being able to provide clients with a “field to finish” design-build product for site development. We survey it, we design it, we build it.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design and create site layout plans in accordance with the client’s needs and review agency requirements.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with, client and project team members regarding project status, design, deliverables
  • Complete assigned tasks in an orderly and timely manner
  • Coordinate with the company's division throughout the project’s construction process

Qualifications and Skill

  • Active P.E. or F.E. License is preferred
  • 6± years of Civil Site Design experience preferred
  • Experience in Commercial & Residential Site Development
  • Experience with authoritative codes and regulations, designing subsurface utilities (sanitary and water), site grading, storm sewer systems and facilities, land disturbance permitting
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic computation software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
