Job Description

This position supports the operation of the kitchen by maintaining properly sanitized and a sufficient stock of dishes and assist the cook with meal prep to ensure the orderly flow of the kitchen systems. Come join our "Great Place to Work U.S Certified" Team! Schedule: 4 days on 2 days off rotating schedule, hours vary from 1:30p - 6:30p, totaling 20-30 hours a weeks. Pay: $13 per hour Benefits

Responsibilities

• Follow oral and written directions.
• Set up trays and food service carts accurately and timely.
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods.
• Serve and bus trays.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
• Handle and store ingredients and food.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• San Antonio, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year prior experience in food service in long term care preferred.
• Must be fully COVID19 vaccinated
