Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Learn About a Day in the Life of a Monitor Technician:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for accurate record keeping, observation of monitors, and prompt reporting of cardiac rhythm changes.
Possess effective communication skills.
Perform Unit Secretary duties for the unit as assigned.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

Certificate program or Associate degree
Completion of Telemetry Training
One (1) year related experience

Preferred Job Requirements:

Accredited program in cardiovascular technology
BLS.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education , and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
